Sunday 30th September March 2007 - Playing 10th and getting 176 points at the National Finals in Harrogate, we got a very respectable 5th place playing Roman Tryptych. Well done to everyone!!
Sunday 4th March 2007 - This year we came 1st place in our section and will be playing at the Harrogate Conference Centre on 30th September later this year
Colin Slassor and John Roach both received a 50 years service to Brass Banding award.

Saturday 4th March 2006 - At the Yorkshire Regional Brass Band Finals, St George’s Hall, Crofton got 4th place in the 4th Section by playing Anglian Dances.
Also, a big congratulations to Andrew Clutton, our principal solo cornet player who won Best Soloist. Well Done!!!
Sunday 19th February 2006 - CSB earned 2nd place in the 4th Section at the North East Midlands Brass Band Association Contest, held at the Rolls Royce Pavillion in Derby. The band played Anglian Dances.
A big congratulations has to go to our principal Euphonium Player, Robin Morgan who won the Best Euphonium award.
Saturday 22nd January 2005 - With 182 points CSB achieved 3rd place at the Butlin’s Mineworker’s Contest, Skegness by playing Stantonbury Festival.
Sunday 7th March 2004 - Gaining 184 points, 3rd place was achieved at the Yorkshire Regional Brass Band Finals, St George’s Hall, Bradford by playing ‘Partita’.
Saturday 7th October 2000 - The band won 2nd place in Blackpool in addition to 1999’s 1st place.
